We now have two 7KW Zappi chargers for guest use. Fees apply but we aim to be no more expensive than comparable public charging facilities – call us to discuss. Park up in our ample off street parking and top up your EV while you enjoy Plymouth’s many attractions within walking distance.


“Number One” is a friendly, family owned guest house ideally located close to all of the city’s main attractions and amenities.

Park up, charge-up and explore; we have an exceptional amount of off-street parking for our guests and now have two Zappi EV chargers for guest use (fees apply). We are just a few minutes’ walk from the City Centre, historic Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, the Theatre Royal, Plymouth Pavilions, Brittany Ferries port and both rail & coach stations.

Originally built as the home of a Royal Navy admiral circa 1850, Number One Windsor Villas is an impressive regency building which has been run as a guest house by our family for over 30 years.

All rooms are ensuite and have flat screen digital TV with Freeview TV and radio channels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast is cooked to order with buffet style cereals, toast, tea/coffee & fruit juice and a variety of hot breakfast options with your choice of a traditional “Full English”, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs or vegetarian and vegan options.

We pride ourselves on professional standards with personal service ensuring you make the most of your visit to Plymouth, be it for business, a short break or as a base for your holiday in Devon & Cornwall.

We accept payment by credit or debit card, cash or cheque.

This Grade 2 listed building does not have a lift and the bedrooms are accessed by a beautiful staircase. We are very happy to help with your bags if you would like us to do so and if you need more information about access to the rooms before you book, please do get in touch. Likewise, if you have any special requirements – dietary or otherwise – or are looking for rates for a longer stay you are very welcome to call to discuss.
